Hi. I’m Naomi.

Otherwise known as SuperArtGirl

I’ve been an artist my whole life.

I loved creating as a child, whether it was mud pies in the backyard that I envisioned were beautiful works of culinary artistry, or heartfelt drawings to friends and family members. I’ve even created desperate pleas to loggers in the form of a crying tree poster to save a 100 year old fir behind our property from being cut down - and it worked, the tree was saved!

All of these things had one thing in common, creativity. As life went along, the creativeness slowed, life gets busy and some things take a backseat. It wasn’t until 2003 after being part of a tech company that was like being on a sinking ship, I picked up a paint brush for the first time and the desire to create was strong. Inspired to bring colourful life to otherwise blank walls in my home, I began my painting journey. Little did I know that on this journey it would be the catalyst that would help heal me from the grips of anxiousness and anxiety that I had been fighting with for years before. It even helped me grow my confidence in speaking to people as I started showing my art. Being an artist is where my soul is happiest.

My art comes from my love of life, my love of colour, and my love of making people smile. My style is bright, cheerful, and whimsical. I not only create for myself, but I also create for others and encourage others to tap into their own creativity and see what happens. I didn’t intend to be an artist when I was a little girl making mud pies in the backyard, but life takes us on this adventure that sometimes is bigger than we can envision for ourselves.
